Android
Install & pair
Install the APK and pair WhatsApp — no VPS, no Termux.
Levix for Android packages the whole stack into one APK: its own Node.js runtime, SQLite, Baileys, the AI agent and every command, plus FFmpeg for voice notes and thumbnails. No VPS, no Termux at runtime, no cloud server.
Requirements
| Requirement | Specification |
|---|---|
| Architecture | ARM64 (arm64-v8a) or ARMv7 32-bit — ARM64 covers almost every phone made since 2016 |
| Android version | Android 10 or newer (API level 29+; the app targets API 36) |
| Free storage | ~400 MB (the APK is ~100–110 MB, plus the unpacked app bundle and database) |
| WhatsApp account | An active account to pair via QR or pairing code |
Install
- Download the APK that matches your phone: levix-android-arm64.apk (64-bit — almost every phone since 2016) or levix-android-armv7.apk (32-bit-only devices), from GitHub Releases or this site's download page.
- Open the downloaded APK and tap Install — enable "Install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager if Android asks.
- Open the Levix Host app from your home screen or app drawer.
First run & pairing
- Tap Start Host. Grant the notification permission so the foreground service can keep running, and allow Levix to ignore battery optimization when asked.
- Tap Open Panel in the app (or open http://127.0.0.1:3001 in Chrome) and choose a panel password.
- Go to Connection. Pairing Code is selected by default — enter your WhatsApp number with the country code and no leading zeros or +/-, then tap Request Pairing Code.
- On your phone: WhatsApp → Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device → Link with phone number instead, and type the 8-character code shown in the panel. QR pairing works the same way as everywhere else, if you'd rather scan.
Opening the panel from a computer
The panel is bound to 127.0.0.1 on the phone for safety. To reach it from a computer on the same setup, forward the port over ADB:
adb forward tcp:3001 tcp:3001Then open http://localhost:3001 on the computer.
